BocaFertility: a Leading Infertility Specialist Practice

BocaFertility, established in 1982, was the first Palm Beach County clinic to offer in vitro fertilization. In 1988, the infertility doctors at BocaFertility were able to achieve their first IVF birth, and since then, they have consistently achieved leading success rates in their field and geographic area. Many medical practices now offer IVF options, but BocaFertility is an infertility specialist practice, with all personnel focused on the expertise necessary to help families grow through medical and technological developments.

Our Infertility Doctors

The BocaFertility medical director, Moshe R. Peress, M.D., is highly trained in reproductive endocrinology, with over twenty years of specialized experience in his field. He is just one of several infertility doctors employed by the practice to maintain specialized expertise. The laboratory director, Dr. Michael B. Matilsky, has more than 12 years of clinical IVF experience, and through his expertise and supervision, the BocaFertility lab for infertility tests became accredited with distinction by the College of American Pathologists.

Infertility Tests at BocaFertility

One of the most important tests in the IVF process is Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis, or PGD. PGD infertility tests detect chromosomal or genetic abnormalities in the embryo during IVF therapy. Not all infertility specialist practices employ this type of test, but we at BocaFertility believe it is important for patients at risk of transmitting a chromosomal abnormality. It also helps to minimize the risk of transmission of a single gene defect like cystic fibrosis. For more information on PGD, browse our site or contact us today.
